The Center for Solar Energy’s Incubation Program

Our program’s goal is to shorten the prototype-to-marketplace cycle from approximately 6-10 years to less than 2. While at the same time, ensuring market success with significantly lower capital requirements.

The Center for Solar Energy’s Incubation Program is unique. Participants enter the program through a scholarship, venture capital partner or advisory board’s recommendation. Once enrolled, they receive all the support needed to successfully take a technology from prototype to launch, including unparalleled training, engineering, demonstration and manufacturing support.

Venture capital firms might be particularly interested in using the Incubation Program for technologies they are considering for investments. Participation in the program will be based on ability to cover program costs, as well as approval by program and technology advisors.
